About WM HCCA

One of over 75 regional groups, The West Michigan Regional Group (WMRG) of the Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) encourages the authentic preservation and maintenance of pre-1942 antique motor vehicles.
 

The members share with Regional members’ technical and historical information related to antique motor vehicles, provides opportunities to operate historic vehicles, promote public awareness of historic vehicles and their significance, and provide opportunities for fellowship among Regional members and their families.
 

The WMRG serves antique car hobbyists from all over Michigan, primarily in the western half of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, and others who enjoy touring in Michigan.

  • Annual National Convention – featuring exhibits related to the automotive hobby, talks on various subjects and valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and meet other members.

  • Annual HCCA National Tour – a unique opportunity for all members to participate in a turn-of-the-century rally, with modern conveniences.

Publications
Chapter members receive the Horseless Carriage Gazette, published bimonthly. This nationally recognized publication contains news, historical articles, information on the care and restoration of early automobiles, pertinent advertising, a large classified ad section and many other interesting features. The West Michigan Regional Groups’ local newsletter, The Gearbox Chatter, is a 1st Place Award winning newsletter that is published bimonthly. This publication communicates Chapter events, meetings, activities of members, and tours.


Membership
Membership dues in both national and local are for the calendar year January 1 through December 31. You are not required to own an antique vehicle to be a member. Visitors are always welcome.

Dues
Yearly Dues are due by December 31
Yearly National dues $45 per family 
Regional Dues are $15
NOTE: You may remit both national and regional dues with one check ($60) to the club treasurer. Please email for more information.
