Christmas Party

Have you made plans to join us for our annual Christmas Party? It's coming up fast, Sunday December 8!

Yes, it is that time of year for members to gather together and enjoy fellowship at a local restaurant. We always have a good time and some fun along with our meal.

Members donate items such as Diabetic Socks (size XL, white, no tube socks) and batteries, sizes AAA, C & D, for our local Veterans who are always happy to see us. It can be a lonely time of year for several Veterans, especially those without family.

A popular fund raiser for members is to bring unwrapped gift items for the Auction Fund Raiser. All proceeds are donated to a local charity with a long list of families in need.

As always, monetary donations are always accepted and appreciated.

We also plan our calendar for the following year and elect officers to serve on the board.

Events for the year include: ROMEO outings, Garage Gatherings, Dust Off Tour, Spring Tour, Daily Tours, and Ice Cream Runs! Not to mention the impromptu fun tours that takes just a phone call or two!

We hope you will join us! If you need  a reservation form or registration form, please email wmhcca@gmail.com.

March ROMEO Treasures

Our March ROMEO was another nice day meaning it wasn't snowing, just a light drizzle. The light rain did not deter several from gathering at 84th Street Pub & Grille.

We had a few surprises like this old coil box found in a house. None of us knew what type of car it was off and look forward to someone giving us help identifying it.

Another surprise was a model of a C Cab Paddy Wagon found by Jan at a local Goodwill for just a few $$. Of course Jan thought of Gary immediately and presented the model to Gary.

Jan finds all kinds of treasures that many of us like. Just a few months ago it was cargo pants he picked up with lots of pockets, perfect for touring! And guess who has this great license plate? Yup, Jan.

So - what are you working on? Tell us - we want to hear about it and see it!
