Dust Off Tour

Take that car cover off, unplug your battery charger, fill up the radiator and top off the gas tank. It’s time to shake the cobwebs off for our annual Spring Dust Off Tour!

The best part about this Dust Off Tour is the camaraderie amongst friends.

1936 Bentley
Come out and join us for the day as we take our first tour of the season Saturday, May 18.

We will be driving north and then east. We will meet in the parking lot near McDonald's Express, 402 Ada Dr. SE Ada, MI 49301 no later than 9am. There is ample trailer parking for everyone.

We will caravan along a scenic path to an unusual place with lawn ornaments and then on to a little antique shop as we drive over to Jones Farm Mkt, 7965 Potters Rd., Saranac, for their annual Appreciation Day and show off our favorite wheels.  We will join other cars, tractors, and trucks in the car corral.

1923 Fort T-BucketThere will be plenty of food, popcorn, and live music to entertain us. Not to mention the flea market and great specials from Jones Farm Market. You may want to pack a cooler to take home your cheese & meat.

This is one event that many have asked the Jones’ if they would bring back the cars – all types of cars!

Everyone is welcome, so pack up the family and invite your friends & neighbors to drive their wheels and help make this a memorable event while we educate the public about our cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc.

So - what are you driving and who are you bringing?

Please respond below by

6 pm Friday May 17 so we can prepare enough food for everyone!

C Cab Wrecker

The 1915 Ford C Cab Wrecker is close to being finished.

The boom is on the bed, chain is in position, now to find the hook. Should be ready to install the seat as soon as it warms up.
If we get any warm days, we'll be taking this vehicle for a test drive! Be sure to honk if you see us!

So what are you working on?

March ROMEO Treasures

Our March ROMEO was another nice day meaning it wasn't snowing, just a light drizzle. The light rain did not deter several from gathering at 84th Street Pub & Grille.

We had a few surprises like this old coil box found in a house. None of us knew what type of car it was off and look forward to someone giving us help identifying it.

Another surprise was a model of a C Cab Paddy Wagon found by Jan at a local Goodwill for just a few $$. Of course Jan thought of Gary immediately and presented the model to Gary.

Jan finds all kinds of treasures that many of us like. Just a few months ago it was cargo pants he picked up with lots of pockets, perfect for touring! And guess who has this great license plate? Yup, Jan.

So - what are you working on? Tell us - we want to hear about it and see it!

Model Ts are heading to Michigan Up North!
Three and a half days of FUN, Model Ts and Friends!

The Ford Model Ts are heading NORTH just as the circus once arrived with great ceremony early in the last century. These historic automobiles are colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie or Model T Ford, and will tour about 100 miles each day along the country side. Drivers will have a different set of directions each day to follow preplanned routes on mostly paved roads to museums, personal collections and various places of historical interest. Scheduled stops for morning, lunch and afternoon breaks are also included and in this manner the car tour serves as a viable traveling museum.

If you arrive early we have planned a short driving tour to Have Fun in a quaint little town with plenty to offer.

Our first full day takes us south and west with a morning stop to tour a private classic car collection. We continue to our lunch stop along the river. After lunch we travel north and west along the Lake.

The second day we head west to our morning stop. From there we travel a very short distance to tour a dream come true. Our lunch stop will be along the Lake. We have plenty to keep us busy. From there we head south and east.

Our route takes us northeast around another two Lakes to our morning stop.  We continue northeast and south around still another Lake for our lunch banquet along another Lake. From there we travel to join another traveling car tour and check out their cars.

If you are staying over we encourage you to play and enjoy what the town has to offer.

The Model Ts will be covering a good 100 miles each full day!
